Welcome to “Sinful Sundays,” where I examine and analyze some of the most notorious queer villains of film and TV (and sometimes literature, depending on my mood). These are the characters that entrance and entertain and revolt us, sometimes all three at the same time. As these queer villains show, very often it’s sweetly nice to be bitterly bad.
It’s probably a bit of an understatement to state that I am looking forward to the second season of Interview with the Vampire, the newest adaptation of Anne Rice’s beloved novel. The first season captured so much of what I have lengthy loved about Rice’s work: the queerness, the melancholy, the melodrama and, of course, the sexiness, and I hold every reason to believe that the second season

Q: The performance is being hailed as unabashedly queer as compared to the film adaptation. Why was that important to both of you and the show’s creators?
SR: It’s what’s written in the publication. We’re doing the book and it’s the way it’s supposed to be.
JA: It’s true to the story.
SR: It’s true to what Anne wanted and, yeah… it’s time.
JA: It would be rude not to.
SR: Yeah.

Q: How important was it for the two of you to receive this aspect of the story (the queerness of the books) not only correct, but to tell the full breadth and aspect of this very distinct relationship?
JA: (…) For one, we have to acknowledge that the books are very queer. I think that IWTV Louis is not talking about it, at least in terms of Lestat.
SR: Until you get to the second half of the manual. By the second half of the book, Louis does sort of start to acknowledge that it was something more, which I think is such a cool… (…) I think the relationship, the way Louis describes it in the beginning is sort of like, is it subtext or has he confess
Sam Reid
Just got back from seeing "Belle" and am hopelessly in lust with Sam Reid. I didn't realize it was the same guy from "Anonymous" and "The Railway Man" -- but, omg, he's so unbelievably gorgeous. And that voice! I was pretty much a puddle of goo by the time movie was over.
What do we know about him?

Wonderful, r1. I loved it; Amma Asante is a promising director, and it's an opulent film (I wouldn't be shocked if it's Oscar nominated for Costume Design), but the real glory belongs to the script and the cast -- this is one of those rare screenplays where there's a bounty of complex themes going on throughout the film, with every character given rich depth, and the cast responds marvelously. Definitely one of the best films I've seen so far this year.

I crave to see it. I wonder why this clip isn't advertised as much? the cast is incredible.

I don't understand r3. It's beyond frustrating that a smart, advanced, comple
Unveiling The Mystery: Who Is Sam Reid's Boyfriend? Exploring The Speculation
There's a certain fascination, isn't there, with the lives of those who bright up our screens and stages? We see them in their roles, bringing characters to existence, and it's almost natural to wonder a little about the person behind the performance. So, when it comes to beloved actors like Sam Reid, a lot of people find themselves curious about what happens when the cameras stop rolling.
This curiosity often extends to their personal relationships, and for Sam Reid, a popular question that pops up quite a bit is, "Who exactly is Sam Reid's boyfriend?" It's a inquire that seems to circulate in various corners of the internet, sparking discussions and, quite frankly, a bit of a mystery. This article aims to look at that very question, considering what's known and what remains, skillfully, a private matter.
We're going to seize a closer glance at Sam Reid's public life, his career, and how the concept of "unveiling" information, or revealing something previously hidden, plays into public figures and their private worlds. It's an intriguing topic,
