Asbury Park has undergone extensive revitalization with new restaurants and bars being built along the ocean front, largely accredited to the influx of economic development stemming from the gay community. Take the Garden Declare Parkway to exit 117, the exit for Route 36. Obey the signs to Sandy Connect. The entrance to the National Park is at the the end of 36, where it meets the coast. Enter the park and follow the signs for Gunnison Beach. Park in Parking Lot G. At the bathrooms on the boardwalk nearby the big gun (cosmic synchronicity?), head to the beach, and to your right. The nude area is clearly marked.
