That’s fix Disney has finally hired a queer prince, and he doesn't play peter pan!
Jonathan Groff plays Kristoff in Disney’s new beat movie Frozen a guy, who in Groff’s words, “[is] not like your typical, skinny-legged jeans, Disney prince.”
Having seen the production I must assent , Kristoff is your average run-of-the mill manly ice salesman who talks to reindeer and lives with rock trolls, and according to Groff was a wonder to play.
If you don’t know, Jonathan Groff is an out gay tony nominated actor that has played in numerous Broadway plays, some indie movies, and, probably most memorably, on Fox’s Glee as the self-absorbed bad boy Jesse St. James.
I honestly never consideration I’d live to see the morning that Disney hires an out male lover male actor to play a foremost role in one of their films and to be honest I’m thrilled it’s this one.
By only the first weekend Frozen raked in over $20.7 million kicking The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug of its elevated horse at the top of the charts.
