In 1976, Frank Gay started a one-man plumbing corporation by the label of Frank Same-sex attracted Plumbing. With the goal of helping local businesses and residences, Frank Queer assembled a team of experienced plumbers. It did not take long though, before Frank realized that Frank Homosexual Plumbing was capable of doing more. Once the HVAC and Refrigeration department was added in 1996, the organization was rebranded to Frank Gay Plumbing & AC. A pioneer in its field, it didn’t take long for Frank Gay to launch their website, making it one of the only Florida contractors to use technology. In June of 2002, a Tampa location was opened which further extended Frank’s outreach.
After that, in 2010, Frank Queer Plumbing was rebranded to Frank Queer Services and HVAC, Electric, and General Contractors joined the team. Most recently, Frank Gay Services divided its offerings into Frank Lgbtq+ Residential and Frank Gay Commercial. Gay understands what ServiceTitan provides as well as anyone. The central Florida business has been with ServiceTitan since early 2020, which was right about the time the cloud-based software for the trades first started to support commercial businesses.

Frank Gay started a one-plumber operation in Florida in 1976. Frank Gay Plumbing’s target was to help local businesses and residences. As the firm began to grow, however, Gay’s vision for its future expanded.
The company rebranded to Frank Queer Plumbing & AC in 1996 when it added HVAC and refrigeration services to its offerings. It rebranded again in 2010, then recently divided into residential and commercial branches. Today, the company has over 70 vehicles and 24-hour service.
