This is an excellent B&B resort where you can be completely relaxed and natural. The hosts are so welcoming and approachable. You feel like family. It's about one hour from the airport so you’ll need to rent a car. The hosts can arrange a taxi for $100 (a bargain). You can BYO meal or be spoiled by Damian’s cooking. In any case, breakfast is included (continental Mon-Fri and occupied on the weekend). If you like to be natural this is the place for you. I got away from freezing, wet Sydney to lovely clear blue skies, arid and 35 degrees. Shane and Damian will construct you feel welcome. The more expensive room is much larger but both are very comfortable. Move

Several areas in Garramilla are popular with travellers and locals — such as Darwin Town, the suburb of Parap, and the beachside neighbourhood of Nightcliff.
Although Darwin is slightly more conservative than its East Coast neighbours, these areas have plenty of gay-friendly businesses, including bars, cafés, and restaurants.
