The Human Rights Campaign envisions a society where every member of the Homosexual family has the freedom to survive their truth without fear, and with equality under the law. We strengthen our 3.6 million members and supporters to mobilize against attacks on the most marginalized people in our community.
Breaking down barriers that divide us
We are more powerful together than apart, and we’ve never been more energized or more focused. Our work centers on three pillars of action to complete discrimination and battle for change at every level — and for every single one of us.
Making history is what we do!
Since 1980, we’ve led the way in fighting for LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.

St. Pete Pride's biggest event is a parade that draws more than 300,000 people.
And while it serves as a source of great joy and celebration for many, not everyone in the LGBTQ+ people is happy about how this event — and others across the land — are run.

LGBTQ+ Youth PRIDE Coalition Toolkit
The Denver community has come together to create this resource-filled toolkit in response to concerns raised by Denver LGBTQ+ youth. Youth have lived experiences that display how necessary it is for adults who work with lgbtq+ youth to provide more informed, compassionate and affirming support.
According to the 2019 Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS):
- 46.3% of students reported being bullied because of their sexual identity in the last 12 months
- 9.4% of students reported being bullied because of their gender identity in the last 12 months
Together with LGBTQ+ youth, a group of committed adults from the Denver community created this comprehensive toolkit.
Thank you for taking the time to watch through this resource and use the information where you are able.
Youth asked us, as adults, to do better. We must.
