(2yr+ Poland lgbt+ normal-ish explorer).Edit from owner feedback: while I will still put it as ok, it's an ok place to hang out imo. Perhaps I just haven't seen this at the height of its glory but from a normal midnight on a Feb Friday: service good, song better quality needed, space needed, it's ok, still like Warsaw from room and DJs and crowd quality

Cracow is the second-biggest city in Poland with a population of over 750,000 people. It combines medieval charm, 20th-century elegance, and postwar Soviet architecture to present an unforgettable experience.

The old town center has one of the biggest town squares in Europe. People come to Krakow for its nice cafes, beautiful views, and small gay community.

As you might expect, the gay scene in Krakow is more subtle compared to cities in Germany. However, it is gradually getting bigger.

Most of the gay bars, dance clubs, and gay cruise clubs in Krakow are located in the popular Kazimier district, which used to be the old Jewish quarter. You can easily walk between these establishments. Unlike Warsaw, Krakow does not have a large Pride festival, but it does have a smaller annual queer celebration. However, conservative attitudes are more shared in Krakow, and past self-acceptance events have faced protests.

Gay friendly bar close the Main Square

Why locals love it

A newly opened same-sex attracted friendly cafe and lounge bar located on two levels in an historic tenement building adjacent the Main Square. The upstairs is small but bids fresh smoothies, coffee and of course beer and wine. The cellar has a large lit up bar and regular parties and events. Its the only gay venue in the Vintage Town near the Main Square.

Why you should visit it

The staff and guests are friendly and its a nice place to halt by for a quick drink during the day or to start your evening before heading out to one of the bigger clubs, or if the party gets going spend the whole night!
